George Burgess

George Burgess is the founder and CEO of Gojimo, the UK’s most popular app for exam preparation, used by one in five exam takers. Listed in Forbes’ 2016 30 Under 30 for Consumer Technology, Burgess is only 24 years-old and originally founded Gojimo when he was just 17.

Burgess dropped out of his undergraduate degree at Stanford University to pursue the company full time in 2013 and has since raised over $3m in seed capital from the likes of Index Ventures and Firestartr.

The company has grown from a team of two to twelve and has partnerships in place with some of the world''''s largest educational publishers, including McGraw-Hill Education and Oxford University Press. Burgess speaks regularly about entrepreneurship and edtech.
