Explore the untapped potential of women in enterprise

Over the past decade, we’ve seen a surge of women joining the ranks of the self-employed. Collectively, female-led businesses contribute £3.51 billion to the UK economy, and yet Britain is still leagues behind the US where women in enterprise are concerned.

Why does it matter? Well, if the UK was to achieve the same level of female entrepreneurship as can be found across the pond, Britain would benefit from another 900,000 business startups. It would boost the UK economy by a staggering £23 billion.

This session will explore the untapped potential of women in enterprise, what women want in order to start and build a successful business, and how we can overcome the challenges still facing female entrepreneurs to drive a stronger, more diverse economic landscape for Britain.
