Abigail Cook
Abi has worked on the B2B side of a number of large companies for over 20 years, starting her career in account management and sales at Royal Mail before progressing into their strategic business development, and then marketing teams. More recently, she spent nearly 8 years working at American Express, including roles responsible for SME and corporate marketing, acquisition and lead generation before becoming their Head of Marketing for their Commercial Payments business in the UK and Spain. Abi joined Barclays in early 2018 and recently became the Head of Barclaycard Payments Marketing. Outside of work, Abi is kept busy (and happy) by her 10-year-old twins and is also very keen on sports — playing and watching (possibly more so the latter as age and injuries catch up with her), particularly football. She also admits to buying far too many cookbooks and watching far too many cookery programes.
