Frey has a PhD in Computer Science from The University of York and an MSc & BSc in Computer Science from Reykjavik University. His PhD thesis was on AI for NPCs in interactive drama.

He has two decades of industry and R&D experience, mainly from the Finance and Defence sector.

Including: Founder & Director of Regin AI, AI lead and Senior Research Scientist at Improbable Defence, Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Associate at Goldman Sachs.
