Jim is a security and privacy professional whose expertise and passion lies in ensuring security and privacy help organisations achieve their goals, rather than hindering them. Having started his career in the British Army, he’s then worked in both internal-facing and consultant roles responsible for security, privacy, training, intelligence and leadership. He founded Principle Defence in 2021 with a mission to ‘end bad security and privacy’ and has supported clients in sectors as varied as legal, financial services, central and local government, retail, start-ups, charities and critical national infrastructure.
