Natasha Jamal
Natasha is Vice President, Social Impact - Strive, Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth. As part of her role, she oversees a global portfolio of small business programs at the Center for Inclusive Growth, aimed at building the resilience of small businesses by unlocking access to capital, new markets, networks, and know-how. In addition, Natasha directs the organization’s philanthropic activities in the United Kingdom spanning programmatic investments, stakeholder engagement, research projects, and Data for Good initiatives. She also previously led the Center’s efforts for the Middle East and Africa region.
Natasha has also held several senior Communications roles at Mastercard, leading internal, external, and digital communications that helped shaped the company’s early financial inclusion narrative; directing commercial CSR and philanthropic programming; and driving efforts to culturally integrate several companies acquired by Mastercard.
Prior to joining Mastercard, Natasha worked at global communications consultancy Hill + Knowlton Strategies covering multinational companies serving East Africa and the Middle East, and at the Royal Bank of Canada. As part of her early career as a journalist, she has reported for a number of print and broadcast media across Canada and East Africa.
A passionate traveller, Natasha has worked in London, Dubai, Nairobi, and Toronto. She currently serves as a Trustee for INTRAC and holds a Bachelor’s of Journalism from Carleton University in Ottawa, as well as a post-graduate Certificate in Corporate Communications from Seneca College in Toronto.
