Impacting BME women and girls in STEM
14 Nov 2024

The seminar will provide insight into the UK stem skills market and the need for more diversity. The seminar will also highlight the work Young Ladies Club carries out in secondary schools and community centres to shatter glass ceilings for BME women and girls in STEM. Currently ethnic minorities are underrepresented in STEM fields, with just 8’% of the STEM workforce coming from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds.
Our organisation consistently delivers workshops to help BME women and girls in STEM, through our project leaders, in addition to this we collaborate with STEM corporate partners.
